Information we collect
Personal Information is information that can be directly associated with you such as your name, email address, company, telephone number or billing information, or information about activities directly linked to you such as conference tickets that you have purchased. You agree that you will not provide us with the Personal Information of anyone other than yourself unless you first obtain the consent of the person on whose behalf you will be providing the Personal Information to us (for instance, when you purchase a conference ticket on behalf of a colleague).
Certain technology based products, such as our conference mobile applications, may may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, and performance data, the site or app store from which you downloaded the app. We also use this information to inform app design development and updates. Data collected may include, but is not limited to, system model, mobile network provider, operating system, host ID, location, IP address and other information used to collect aggregate data on app usage, downloads, sessions, and frequency of use. We use this information to manage and administer our products, services and events, and to advise you of the availability of updates and new versions, enhancing our products and services. When using our mobile applications we may collect your geo-location data in order to help provide you with conference services near you.
We provide tools to help you manage your time spent at our conferences, such as event planners via our conference mobile applications and via website based agendas. Through these tools you are able to favorite sessions, provide ratings and feedback on content. This information is then anonymized and used for the purposes of assessing the relevance and suitability of content at future events.

Extend of processing of personal data
We only process personal data, when it is required to serve our website, our services or other content. Personal data will only be processed when the user has agreed to it. An exception will be made if a consent could not be given in advance and the law allows processing in this case.
Deletion of data and storage duration
Personal data will be deleted or access denied, when there is no reason to store it anymore. It can still be stored, when the law requires us to.
Serving Our Websites
Description and Extend of Data Procession
We currently use the Google Analytics and Facebook pixel tool to analyze information on a macro level, such as number of site visits and location of users. We do not use such tools on a granular level to track behavior of individual users linked to the personal information.
Logfiles containing your IP address and pages visited on our website are generated when you access our website.
We do not store log data together with other personal data of the user.
Reasons for processing this data
We use the IP address of the user to understand which pages of our websites users have visited. Information about it is stored to avoid abuse of others, find problems and improve our service in general.
Dissent and removal
We need to write log files to provide our service. There is no possibility for dissent and we cannot remove your data. If there is an urgent matter in this case, please send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Newsletters and Enquiries
Description and extend of data procession
We send newsletters to our users when they have subscribed to it, and essential information to users registered to attend the events we organize. We use the services of Mailjet and SendFox for this purpose. You can read the privacy statement of Mailjet here: Link and SendFox here: Link.
To send you newsletters, we will ask for your e-mail address, your first name and surname.
Links in newsletters are redirected to Mailjet/SendFox, which may set tags to track interest.
Reasons for processing
Your data will be used to send newsletters to you about upcoming events we organize.
Dissent and removal
Subscription to our newsletter can be cancelled at any time. Every newsletter contains a link at the bottom that can be used for that.
Onsite registration and Badges
Participants will be provided a badge when they enter the Devoxx Poland conference. This badge acts as their means of entry into the venue and session rooms. The badge will contain unique ID connected to the participants first name, last name, email and company details.
The participant agrees that by allowing any of the Devoxx Poland sponsors to scan the badge, their details can be shared with that specific sponsor, and the participant is opting in to receiving further communication from that sponsor.
Attendees will be able to allow other attendees to scan their badge should they choose, with the scanning attendee then being able to see the information associated with the badge.
